RMK Management Named Property Manager for Two Chicago-Area Luxury Rental Communities

The Shelby in Chicago and Brookdale Lakes in Naperville, Ill., are Newest Properties in Firm's Management Portfolio


RMKManagement, one of the Midwest’s largest market-rate apartment management firms, has been named property manager for two luxury rental communities in the Chicago area – The Shelby, a 94-unit building in the city’s South Loop neighborhood, and Brookdale Lakes, a 200-unit property in Naperville, Ill., effective as of Nov. 1.

Built in 2010 and located at 2300 S. Michigan Ave. in the South Loop – near the Lake Michigan lakefront path, Grant Park, the Museum Campus and Soldier Field – The Shelby offers convenient access to some of Chicago’s most iconic landmarks. In addition, residents are a short walk to the Cermak-McCormick Green Line “L” station and various bus stops and are just steps away from many restaurants and attractions, including McCormick Place and Wintrust Arena.

Residences include high ceilings, stainless steel appliances, oversize soaking tubs, walk-in closets, and private balconies.

Building amenities at The Shelby, which is pet-friendly, include key-fob access, 24-hour emergency maintenance, package handling with email and text notifications, bike storage, and an attached secured parking garage.
