M&R Development Scores LEED Gold At The Residences Of Wilmette
Thanks in part to its green roof with drought-resistant plants, The Residences of Wilmette recently received LEED Gold certification from the USGBC. |
When Taylor Johnson client M&R Development creates a rental community, it goes for the gold, especially when it comes to environmentally kind projects. Case in point: The Residences of Wilmette, the firm's newest apartment development. Managed by RMK Management Corp., the 75-unit community was recently certified LEED Gold thanks to eco-friendly extras like high-performance windows, low-flow toilets and a green roof with drought-resistant native plants that help mitigate storm water runoff. Multi-Housing News, REJournals.com and Bisnow were among the outlets that covered the property's LEED certification.
